donations. Your police officers put their lives on the line daily
to protect the citizens of our state.
The
MI-COPS support group helps these family members, friends and fellow officers
cope with that grief. The police departments do not fund MI-COPS.
They depend solely on fund-raisers and donations.
Unfortunately,
officers are killed in the line of duty. The officer's family then
lives on with the horrible grief of seeing a loved one buried, just for
doing his or her job. The job of protecting us.
